Enroute East
We left Victoria this morning onboard the 9am ferry and I must admit it was bitter sweet - bitter in that we're leaving so many great friends but sweet in that we are looking forward to this next chapter in our life. The car is definitely jam packed so hopefully we'll lighten the load along the way. We made a quick pit stop in Merritt, BC for lunch and are now in Penticton, BC for a few days. The B&B we are staying at is further out of town then we wanted to be (we're in Naramata) but it will be good to have a day for Matt to train on the Ironman Course tomorrow. We're heading out for a bike ride early tomorrow morning and then will swim and run Sunday before we head towards Calgary. We'll also check out the market tomorrow and load up on lots of fresh fruit for the rest of the drive.
