Winter arrived in Kingston with a bang yesterday! We had been experiencing a long spell of good weather but mother-nature decided to make sure that we knew we were no longer living in BC. The first day of shoveling was actually kind of fun but by day 2 (7:30am this morning) the novelty had worn off.
The tri bikes are now permanently affixed to the trainers in the basement and we are praying for the light at the end of the tunnel. As if getting up early to swim wasn't bad enough, we've been cautioned that we should add an extra 20 min to our morning routine to shovel out. Man, do we miss Victoria!!!
Besides the snow, Christmas feels like it has sort of come and gone at the College. The cadets are well into exam routine so most of the Christmas activities were last month. In November, we attended the Annual Christmas Ball with good friends Miss (middle), Cal (left) and Sean (RMC Rugby coach) and (literally) danced the night away.
We also served our respective Squadrons Christmas dinner in the Mess. Below is a pic of John (another Squadron Commander) and I monkeying around and our new friend Toure before the dinner.

HAHA, oh Matt you look so happy with that shovel in your hand! :P I guess with a house and driveway comes the task of shovelling the white stuff.
Happy Holidays to you both!
Oh Kamal....doesn't that count as weight training? Hope you are enjoying the holidays.
