Bad
I'll start with the bad. A friend, co-worker, on occasion boss, and fellow Sea King pilot died last Thursday in the Sikorsky S-92 aircraft off the coast of Newfoundland. Tim Lanouette, who had over 20 years in the Air Force retired in the summer of 2008 and started working for Cougar helicopters. It ended up that he was one of the pilots on the helicopter. He leaves behind 4 young children. He'll be missed by all.
Good
On a more positive note, it is official, I recieved the posting message this morning and we will be moving to Kingston this year to start a new adventure in a new location. Until then, it will training as per normal.
